Local charity Support Staffordshire who provide free support for over 1,000 charities, non-profit and voluntary organisations in our county, has recently launched a brand new and exclusive Business Club which will help to raise vital funds to enable them to provide even more support to Staffordshire’s community.

The organisation under-pins the voluntary sector in Staffordshire, supporting local charities and voluntary groups with operational matters, raising millions of pounds of funding each year, and putting structures in place to ensure their members can operate sustainably to make their offering and services the best they can be.

During the pandemic Support Staffordshire provided a safety net to the third sector, helping numerous new and existing community food projects, supporting other not for profits with Covid risk assessments and safe re-opening protocols, they set-up and operated good neighbour schemes, supported 1,000s of socially isolated people, and even helped prevent the collapse of some charities by supporting them with funding applications and placed more than 1,000 volunteers across the county eager to help their community.

The charity are now looking to local businesses who are passionate about our community, to come together to help make Staffordshire stronger by joining the Support Staffordshire Business Club.

Lisa Carson, Fundraising Development Manager of the charity said “Being part of our Business Club is a simple way for your business to make a huge impact on your local community. And there are lots of benefits associated with being part of the club too! Becoming a member will give you the opportunity to attend regular networking events with guest speakers, showcase your products and services, make an impact using your business skills and talents, attend regular social events and get VIP discounts and offers, the list is endless”.

“It’s a fact that consumers are more likely to buy a product that is associated with a cause and becoming a Support Staffordshire Business Club member means that your brand would be associated with not one, but more than 1,000 causes supporting the Staffordshire community. “
